Short recap of our August 14th event at the Bear Library where we presented a lesson on the basics of self-advocacy.
On August 14th, 2023, the HEAL Team held our first seminar on the topic of self-advocacy in healthcare settings for the community at the Bear Library. We were able to share with the community the basic foundation for healthcare advocacy and begin to bring light to this critical skill. This event is the first of many more to come.
